Petraeus IS politically involved...whether he likes it
or not.
Bush's main characteristic is to institute policy, puff
up the man in charge, then---if things go
wrong----point to that person and lay blame on him.
Petraeus is promoting Bush's policy----that's his job
If that policy fails (even tho he implemented it) Bush
will step away and let him take the blame.......
